It’s nice to be back and see all the smiling faces of your children! They are really great to work with. Listed below are some links to some health policies and information. Please never hesitate to call with any health concerns you may have about your children.

I always encourage children to bring water bottles to school especially at the beginning and end of the school year when it is so hot. The assistant principal and I are evaluating the heat index daily and adjusting recesses for the health and safety of the students and staff.  We are anxiously waiting days when the kids can go out and run and we don’t have to be concerned about heat exhaustion.

The UV rays in Arizona are very strong, even when the days are cooler. As the temperatures decrease your children will be outside for at least 25 min a day that does not include walking to specials or PE. Please have them wear sunscreen daily, if we start them young maybe they will continue the habit into adulthood!
